Harvey also was the Executive Editor of and contributor to the computer magazine Circuit Cellar Ink from 1992 through 2001 and owned his own consulting business, MicroServices, Inc. He was an active member of the Connecticut Computer Club for over 40 years. Harvey also was an avid amateur radio operator who spoke with individuals in over 175 countries. He was a past President of the Hartford Amateur Radio Club and a Lifetime member of the American Radio Relay League. Harvey had an amazing sense of humor and regularly made people around him smile and laugh. He valued his many friends and enjoyed activities with them. He also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles in ink, listening to music, and building all kinds of electronics from RF spectrum analyzers to personal computers. Most of all, Harvey loved his family and enjoyed spending time together. Family vacations and time by the pool were among his favorites. He really could build or fix almost anything and used his skills and gifts to make his familys lives more enjoyable and to help others. He especially loved spending time with his grandson Jake, and the joy and laughter on each of their faces made anyone watching smile. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Roberta, his son Stephen, daughter-in-law Robin, grandson Jacob Weiner of South Glastonbury, CT, and his daughter Janice Weiner of Bethesda, MD.
