Norman Stanley Isko

Norman Stanley Isko, Esquire, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, died peacefully on May 17, 2025.
Norman was born December 20, 1930 in New York City. He is predeceased by his parents, Harry and Rose Isko, his brother and sister-in-law, Irving and June Isko, his first wife, Claire Freedman Isko, her brother Seymour Freedman, their parents, Abraham and Masha Freedman, his in laws, Frank and Frances Daddino, and their daughter, Barbara Pistilli.
Norman is a graduate of New York University. He then attended Harvard Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor degree. Norman was drafted into the Army, completing two years of active service. He then began his legal career as General Counsel for Carvel Corporation in Yonkers, New York.
In June 1972, he married Marie Daddino White, and in 1973, they moved their family to Manchester, Connecticut, where he served as General Counsel to First Hartford Corporation in Manchester. He later went on to become General Counsel for Economy Electric Supply Company, also in Manchester. In 1991, Norman became General Counsel for Carabetta Enterprises in Meriden, Connecticut, until he retired at the age of 86.
Norman is survived by his wife, Marie Isko, his son, Michael Isko and his wife Dr. Roberta Moss of West Hartford, Connecticut, his two daughters, Abby Isko Goldblatt and her husband Mitchell Goldblatt of Orange, Connecticut, and Lisa White Isko Barrett and her husband Stephen Barrett of South Windsor, Connecticut. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Alisha Barrett Chapman and her husband Christopher, Stephanie Barrett, Gabriel Isko and his fiancée Ephraim Infante, Emily Isko, Carl Goldblatt and Shayna Goldblatt, and his great grandson Bryson Chapman.
Services will be held at Manchester Funeral Home, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 9:30 a.m., 142 East Center Street, Manchester, Connecticut, followed by an internment service at East Cemetery, 220 East Center Street, Manchester, Connecticut.
Michael Isko and his family will sit Shiva at their home in West Hartford, Connecticut, on May 20, 2025, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., with a Minyan at 7 p.m. Abby Isko Goldblatt and her family will sit Shiva at their home in Orange, Connecticut, on May 21, 2025, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., with a Minyan at 7 p.m.
