Glenn Blumenstein

Glenn Blumenstein

Co-Owner and CEO

A fifteen-year veteran of Funeral Service, every opportunity to serve the Jewish Community has been important to Glenn. With the experience of ownership of three Connecticut funeral homes, Glenn and his wife started Blumenstein Funerals: because easing suffering is at the core of what they do, and providing that compassion to their community has always been paramount.

Tiffany Blumenstein

Tiffany Blumenstein

Co-Owner

Tiffany spent her early career with the U.S. Military, where she honed her skills in operations, logistics and civil engineering. She brought those skills with her when she entered the corporate world and was able to bring the unique experiences from her military career into the commercial sector. After meeting Glenn and learning of his passion for the funeral industry, she realized quickly that they both shared a common vision for easing people’s grief. And unlike many in the industry, she doesn’t look backwards to what has been done, she’s looking forward, toward the future and to what is possible. “Dedicated service seems to be lost with many larger corporations that are slow to change…I know we can do it better!”

Amber Ditomasso

Amber Ditomasso

Preneed Funeral Director, All Locations

Amber has a diverse professional background in the funeral industry. She is a licensed funeral director as well as a licensed life insurance producer. In addition, Amber is a certified Preplanning Consultant through the NFDA. Amber is actively involved with funeral planning seminars and health fairs seeking to raise awareness of the importance of pre-planning. Additional important aspects of Amber's professional career revolve around collaborating with funeral homes, attorneys, conservators, and elder care facility directors to facilitate asset protection, commonly for Title 19 qualification. Amber lives in Sturbridge, MA with her husband and two daughters. In her down time, she enjoys hiking and traveling.

Karen Harper

Office Manager

Karen joined the Manchester Funeral Home after 24+ years as an Administrative Assistant II, House Manager, and Case Manager in a Substance abuse/Halfway house that serviced residents from the Department of Corrections. She is a Connecticut native, who served in the United States Air Force from 1978-1983. While in the Air Force, Karen worked in Transportation. She later cross trained and became an On-the-Job Training Manager. Karen’s conscientious manner and proclivity for attending to others in need, make her an asset to any team, but her tireless dedication provides the foundation for our seamless day-to-day operation. When she is not working, Karen enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Stephen "Steve' St. John

Funeral Assistant

Stephen St. John (“Steve”) is our newest Funeral Assistant, having come to us for a career change after seven years working with children as a Registered Behavioral Technician and Special Education Paraprofessional. He brings a unique level of compassion to our funeral home that we expect will help him blossom into a caring and dedicated Funeral Director at the completion of his education. He currently attends Goodwin College for Mortuary Science, and is learning under the expert tutelage of Glenn and Kevin through experience and exposure to the field. Steve is also the proud father to five-year-old Autumn.
